This week we will embark on a series which will examine the Bible and its credibility and strengths. There are various aspects about the scriptures which are confusing to some people. This is mainly due to how it is presented in our English translations. It is not that the translations are faulty, but there are issues of organization and aids that have been added over the centuries that can impair our ability to grasp what's being said.

This Sunday we will consider the order of the books, the Jewish view of prophetic inspiration and how that impacts how Jesus is received by the Jewish people in the Gospels.

Yes, we are digging deeper. Will there be stuff you will need to carry away and think through - yes of course! Will there be opportunities for new inspiration and new confidence in the scriptures - absolutely! Think of it as a kind of adventure with new insights around each corner.
